Daftar Lengkap Pemenang Golden Globe Awards Ke-67

Beverly Hills - Film 'Avatar' tak hanya sukses sebagai film paling laris. Di ajang Golden Globe Awards ke-67, layar lebar karya James Cameron itu pun berjaya. 'Avatar' menjadi Film Terbaik.

'Avatar' mengalahkan 'The Hurt Locker,'Inglourious Basterds,' 'Precious: Based On The Novel Push By Sapphire,' dan 'Up In The Air.' Film kedua terlaris di dunia sepanjang sejarah itu, tercatat membawa pulang tiga piala Golden Globe. Selain Film Terbaik, layar lebar yang dibintangi Sam Worthington itu juga meraih penghargaan Sutradara Terbaik.

Di ajang Academy Awards ke-82 yang akan digelar 7 Maret mendatang, 'Avatar' pun diprediksi menang. Layar lebar yang settingnya pada tahun 2154 itu, dijagokan terpilih sebagai Film Terbaik.

Dalam pidato kemenangannya, James Cameron, sang sutradara Avatar, tidak dapat menutupi kegembiraannya. "Ini adalah pekerjaan terbaik di dunia," begitu katanya.

'Avatar' merupakan film yang dikembangkan Cameron sejak 1994. Ia sebenarnya ingin melakukan syuting film tersebut setelah 'Titanic.' Namun ia menundannya karena tekhnologi film saat itu, tak mampu menampung idenya. Pada 2009 lalu, Cameron pun merilis 'Avatar' dalam versi 3D.
